In Friday's league outing, the Memorial Warriors (Frisco, TX) basketball squad felled the host Independence Knights (Frisco, TX), by a margin of 46-32.

The Warriors (21-10) will now prepare for their outing against Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX). The Trail Blazers go into the 5A Region II District 10 outing with a 20-10 record. In their last outing, Lebanon Trail was beaten by Liberty (Frisco, TX), 56-23, in a league outing.

The Knights now own a 9-13 record. They play next when they host Centennial for a 5A Region II District 10 outing on Tuesday, January 31. Independence will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 51-39 league loss to Heritage (Frisco, TX). The Titans record now stands at 12-19.
