Presbyterian Christian Bobcats (Hattiesburg, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Jackson Academy Raiders (Jackson, MS), 43-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Presbyterian Christian upgrades its record to 25-3 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Oak Forest Academy (Amite, LA) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Oak Forest Academy lost 55-24 in their recent league bout against Brookhaven Academy (Brookhaven, MS)

Next up, the Raiders play the Hartfield Academy Hawks (Flowood, MS) in a MAIS 6A District 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Jackson Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-19 season record.
