Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting James Buchanan Rockets (Mercersburg, PA), 74-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Shippensburg upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to West York Area (York, PA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-8. West York Area won 42-40 in their recent league bout against Eastern York (Wrightsville, PA)

Next up, the Rockets play the West Perry Mustangs (Elliottsburg, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Colonial bout, on Tuesday, January 31. James Buchanan will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 39-30 league loss to Northern York (Dillsburg, PA).
