Fans at Friday's league test between the Westminster Lions (Westminster, CA) and the host Katella Knights (Anaheim, CA), witnessed Westminster's basketball squad nip Katella by a margin of 47-44.

The Lions (7-12) will now prepare for their test against Ocean View (Huntington Beach, CA). The Seahawks go into the Golden West test with a 18-8 record. In their last test, Ocean View was tipped by Godinez Fundamental (Santa Ana, CA), 37-35, in a league test.

The Knights now own a 10-14 record. They play next when they host Segerstrom for a Golden West test on Tuesday, January 31. Katella will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 54-14 league win over Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 17-8.
