The Kingwood Mustangs basketball team (Kingwood, TX), was overwhelmed 72-47 in Friday's league battle with the host Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX)
The Bulldogs now possess a 27-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beaumont United for a 6A Region III District 21 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Summer Creek will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 50-40 league loss to King (Houston, TX). The Timberwolves record now stands at 9-19.
The Mustangs (18-15) will now prepare for their battle against West Brook (Beaumont, TX). The Bruins come into the 6A Region III District 21 battle with a 26-3 record. In their last battle, West Brook trounced North Shore (Houston, TX), 49-27, in a league battle.
