The La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA) basketball knocked off the host Santa Fe Chiefs (Santa Fe Springs, CA), 47-32 in Friday's league test.

The Lancers (12-13) will now prepare for their test against El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA). The Dons go into the Del Rio test with a 13-11 record. In their last test, El Rancho went down by Whittier (Whittier, CA), 50-39, in a league test.

The Chiefs now own a 7-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to California for a Del Rio contest on Wednesday, February 1. Santa Fe will battle a Condors team coming off a 40-39 league win over Whittier (Whittier, CA). The Condors record now stands at 9-17.
