The Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT) basketball crushed the visiting Wamogo Warriors (Litchfield, CT), 63-18 in Friday's league test.
The Bears (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Gilbert (Winsted, CT). The Yellowjackets go into the Berkshire test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Gilbert was trounced by Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT), 52-41, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Housatonic-Wamogo for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Wamogo will encounter a Mountaineers squad coming off a 49-29 non-league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, CT). The Mountaineers record now stands at 5-8.
