The Red Oak Hawks basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Lancaster Tigers to 38 in the Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now sport a 17-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Terrell for a 5A Region II District 14 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Red Oak will battle a Tigers team coming off a 41-30 league loss to Crandall (Crandall, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 17-15.

The Tigers (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Ennis (Ennis, TX). The Lions enter the 5A Region II District 14 contest with a 4-25 record. In their last contest, Ennis was defeated by Forney (Forney, TX), 63-28, in a league contest.
