The Lanesboro Burros (Lanesboro, MN) basketball crushed the host Lyle/Pacelli Athletics (Lyle, MN), 64-31 in Friday's league test.
The Burros (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Southland (Adams, MN). The Rebels go into the A Section 1 test with a 3-15 record. In their last test, Southland was trounced by Houston (Houston, MN), 80-57, in a league test.
The Athletics now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they host Kingsland for a A Section 1 test on Monday, January 30. Lyle/Pacelli will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 67-30 league win over LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN). The Knights record now stands at 15-4.
