The Little River Academy Bumblebees (Little River Academy, TX) basketball felled the host Rogers Eagles (Rogers, TX), 45-29 in Friday's league test.
The Bumblebees (25-7) will now prepare for their test against C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX). The Yoemen go into the 3A Region III District 19 test with a 4-19 record. In their last test, C.H. Yoe went down by Lorena (Lorena, TX), 63-18, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 11-13 record. They play next when they travel to Lexington for a 3A Region III District 19 test on Tuesday, January 31. Rogers will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 54-37 league loss to Troy (Troy, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 13-17.
