New Mexico High School Basketball - Los Lunas fells Rio Grande

Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM), 54-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Los Lunas upgrades its record to 3-17 on the season. The Tigers host Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A District 5 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 17-2. Albuquerque won 70-50 in their recent league bout against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM)

Next up, the Ravens play the Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM) in a 5A District 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Rio Grande will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Demons go into the bout with a 7-13 record after their 37-27 league loss to Capital (Santa Fe, NM).
