Wisconsin High School Basketball - Madison West ripped by Verona

The Verona Wildcats basketball team scored 87 points and held the visiting Madison West Regents to 21 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Janesville Craig for a Big Eight contest on Thursday, February 2. Verona will meet a Cougars team coming off a 76-34 league win over Beloit Memorial (Beloit, WI). The Cougars record now stands at 14-3.
The Regents (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Madison La Follette (Madison, WI). The Lancers enter the Big Eight contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Madison La Follette triumphed over Madison East (Madison, WI), 65-63, in a league contest.
