California High School Basketball - Menlo-Atherton overwhelms Sequoia

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) and the visiting Sequoia Ravens (Redwood City, CA), saw Menlo-Atherton's basketball squad wallop Sequoia by a tally of 49-5.

With the victory, Menlo-Atherton improves its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Bears travel to San Mateo (San Mateo, CA) to confront the Bearcats in a Peninsula - South challenge on Wednesday, February 1. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-15. San Mateo lost 69-34 in their recent league challenge against Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA)

Next up, the Ravens confront the Aragon Dons (San Mateo, CA) in a Peninsula - South challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Sequoia will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Dons come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 48-43 league loss to Mills (Millbrae, CA).
