Union City Golden Tornadoes (Union City, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Milan Bulldogs (Milan, TN), 67-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Union City upgrades its record to 6-14 on the season. The Golden Tornadoes travel to Westview (Martin, TN) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 22-0. Westview won 57-22 in their recent non-league bout against Milan (Milan, TN)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Gibson County Pioneers (Dyer, TN) in a 2A District 12 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Milan will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 58-50 league win over Huntingdon (Huntingdon, TN).
