In Friday's league outing, the Muskegon Big Reds (Muskegon, MI) basketball squad felled the visiting Mona Shores Sailors (Norton Shores, MI), by a margin of 38-27.
The Big Reds (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 11-2 record. In their last outing, Traverse City Central thwarted Alpena (Alpena, MI), 54-39, in a league outing.
The Sailors now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Holland for a Ottawa-Kent - Green outing on Friday, February 3.
