The Northwood Gators (Lena, LA) basketball crushed the host Montgomery Tigers (Montgomery, LA), 76-31 in Friday's league test.
The Gators (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Logansport (Logansport, LA). The Tigers go into the 1A District 3 test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Logansport walloped Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA), 54-40, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to LaSalle for a 1A District 3 test on Tuesday, January 31. Montgomery will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 56-55 league win over St. Mary (Natchitoches, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 18-7.
