North Carolina High School Basketball - Rocky Mount overwhelms Nash Central

January 27, 2023: Rocky Mount, NC 27803

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Rocky Mount Gryphons (Rocky Mount, NC) and the visiting Nash Central Bulldogs (Rocky Mount, NC), saw Rocky Mount's basketball squad wallop Nash Central by a tally of 68-25.

With the victory, Rocky Mount improves its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Gryphons travel to Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC) to confront the Yellowjackets in a 2A/3A Conference 17 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Roanoke Rapids won 42-41 in their recent league challenge against Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Northern Nash Knights (Rocky Mount, NC) in a 2A/3A Conference 17 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Nash Central will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 42-41 league loss to Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC).
