The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Wingate lost 57-27 in their recent league challenge against Tohatchi (Tohatchi, NM)

Next up, the Skyhawks confront the Tohatchi Cougars (Tohatchi, NM) in a 3A District 1 challenge, on Monday, January 30. Newcomb will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 57-27 league win over Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM).
