North Carolina High School Basketball - Northampton County trounces Weldon

January 27, 2023: Gaston, NC 27832

The Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Weldon Chargers (Weldon, NC), 52-29 in Friday's league test.

The Jaguars (13-0) will now prepare for their test against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Hertford County was trounced by Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC), 67-35, in a league test.

The Chargers now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Wilson Prep for a 1A Conference 9 test on Friday, February 3.
