Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northside Christian Warriors (Crowley, LA), 58-18 in a league bout.

With the win, Plainview upgrades its record to 9-15 on the season. The Hornets travel to St. Joseph's - Plaucheville (Plaucheville, LA) to play the Eagles in a C District 5 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-14. St. Joseph's - Plaucheville lost 69-33 in their recent league bout against Reeves (Reeves, LA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Fairview Panthers (Grant, LA) in a C District 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Northside Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 31-7 record after their 70-36 non-league win over Southern Lab (Baton Rouge, LA).
