Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Seaholm Maples (Birmingham, MI), 61-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Oxford upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Lake Orion won 56-46 in their recent non-league bout against Clarkston (Clarkston, MI)

Next up, the Maples play the Royal Oak Ravens (Royal Oak, MI) in a Oakland - Blue bout, on Thursday, February 2. Seaholm will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Ravens go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 62-34 non-league win over Troy (Troy, MI).
