In Friday's league outing, the Panther Creek Panthers (Frisco, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting Van Alstyne Panthers (Van Alstyne, TX), by a margin of 43-42.
The Panthers (19-11) will now prepare for their outing against Ranchview (Irving, TX). The Wolves go into the 4A Region II District 11 outing with a 6-23 record. In their last outing, Ranchview was tipped by Celina (Celina, TX), 42-36, in a league outing.
The Panthers now own a 18-9 record. They play next when they host Aubrey for a 4A Region II District 11 outing on Tuesday, January 31. Van Alstyne will clash with a Chaparrals squad coming off a 50-47 league win over Anna (Anna, TX). The Chaparrals record now stands at 11-17.
