The Philomath Warriors (Philomath, OR) basketball crushed the visiting Sweet Home Huskies (Sweet Home, OR), 58-16 in Friday's league test.
The Warriors (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Stayton (Stayton, OR). The Eagles go into the 4A Oregon West test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Stayton walloped Newport (Newport, OR), 69-55, in a league test.
The Huskies now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to North Marion for a 4A Oregon West test on Tuesday, January 31. Sweet Home will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 55-16 league loss to Cascade (Turner, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 4-13.
