Ranburne Bulldogs (Ranburne, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL), 68-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Ranburne upgrades its record to 19-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Wadley (Wadley, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 13-8. Wadley lost 59-45 in their recent league bout against Winterboro (Alpine, AL)

Next up, the Raiders play the Westbrook Christian Warriors (Rainbow City, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Pleasant Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 55-33 non-league loss to Sylvania (Sylvania, AL).
