With the victory, Ponder upgrades its record to 13-17 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Callisburg (Gainesville, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 11-15. Callisburg lost 66-32 in their recent league challenge against Paradise (Paradise, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 challenge, on Monday, January 30. Valley View will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 22-9 record after their 65-20 league win over Boyd (Boyd, TX).
