The Port Arthur Memorial Titans (Port Arthur, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX), 60-39 in Friday's league test.
The Titans (14-10) will now prepare for their test against Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX). The Indians go into the 5A Region III District 17 test with a 10-15 record. In their last test, Port Neches-Groves walloped Lee (Baytown, TX), 48-21, in a league test.
The Rangers now own a 3-22 record. They play next when they host Barbers Hill for a 5A Region III District 17 test on Tuesday, January 31. Sterling will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 67-32 league win over Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 27-5.
