Fans at Friday's league challenge between the St. Frederick Warriors (Monroe, LA) and the visiting River Oaks Mustangs (Monroe, LA), saw St. Frederick's basketball squad knock off River Oaks by a count of 70-53.

With the victory, St. Frederick upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Ouachita Christian (Monroe, LA) to play the Eagles in a 1A District 2 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 15-2.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Lincoln Prep Panthers (Grambling, LA) in a 1A District 2 challenge, on Thursday, February 2. River Oaks will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record.
