Utah High School Basketball - Rowland Hall nudges St. Joseph

Rowland Hall Winged Lions (Salt Lake City, UT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host St. Joseph Jayhawks (Ogden, UT), 33-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Rowland Hall upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Winged Lions travel to American Prep WV (West Valley City, UT) to clash with the Eagles in a 2A Region 17 game on Tuesday, January 31. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 6-12. American Prep WV lost 34-13 in their recent league game against Waterford (Sandy, UT)

With the defeat, St. Joseph moves to 8-9 on the year. The Jayhawks host Waterford (Sandy, UT) to face the Ravens in a 2A Region 17 game on Thursday, February 2. The Ravens enter the game with a record of 5-10.
