Minnesota High School Basketball - Sauk Rapids-Rice thwarts St. Cloud Tech

The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm (Sauk Rapids, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting St. Cloud Tech Tigers (St. Cloud, MN), 61-41 in Friday's league test.

The Storm (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Zimmerman (Zimmerman, MN). The Thunder go into the Freelance test with a 5-10 record. In their last test, Zimmerman notched a victory over Big Lake (Big Lake, MN), 77-54, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they host St. Cloud Cathedral for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. St. Cloud Tech will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 56-44 league loss to Foley (Foley, MN). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-8.
