Tabernacle Christian Ram (Monroe, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Shining Light Baptist Academy Sharks (Monroe, NC), 40-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Tabernacle Christian upgrades its record to 5-13 on the campaign. The Ram host Matthews Christian Academy (Matthews, NC) to play the Colts in a NCCSA A West Region 2 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Colts come into the bout with a record of 1-14. Matthews Christian Academy lost 55-24 in their recent league bout against Victory Christian (Sylva, NC)

Next up, the Sharks play the Southview Christian Conquerors (Statesville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Shining Light Baptist Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Conquerors come into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 47-25 non-league win over Fayetteville Street Christian (Asheboro, NC).
