Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA), 45-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Trinity Christian upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Lions travel to North Clayton (College Park, GA) to play the Eagles in a AAAA Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-13. North Clayton lost 57-16 in their recent league bout against Troup County (LaGrange, GA)

Next up, the Panthers play the McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Starr's Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 53-44 league loss to Northgate (Newnan, GA).
