In Friday's non-league outing, the Steinert Spartans (Hamilton, NJ) basketball squad beat the visiting West Windsor-Plainsboro North Knights (Plainsboro, NJ), by a count of 42-31.

The Spartans (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hopewell Valley Central (Pennington, NJ). The Bulldogs go into the Colonial Valley - Patriot outing with a 6-10 record. In their last outing, Hopewell Valley Central was topped by Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NJ), 32-25, in a league outing.

The Knights now hold a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Princeton Day for a non-league outing on Monday, January 30. West Windsor-Plainsboro North will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 46-24 non-league loss to West Windsor-Plainsboro South (Princeton Junction, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 2-11.
