The Carson Senators basketball team (Carson City, NV), was nudged 27-26 in Friday's league battle with the host Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV)

The Mustangs now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Manogue for a battle on Thursday, February 2. Damonte Ranch will battle a Miners team coming off a 44-27 league win over Douglas (Minden, NV). The Miners record now stands at 12-1.

The Senators (4-18) will now prepare for their battle against Reed (Sparks, NV). The Raiders come into the battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Reed edged Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV), 21-20, in a league battle.
