The Oakton Cougars basketball team scored 30 points and held the visiting South Lakes Seahawks to 18 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westfield for a non-league contest on Monday, January 30. Oakton will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 51-25 non-league win over Centreville (Clifton, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.
The Seahawks (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Chantilly (Chantilly, VA). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Chantilly was outscored by James Madison (Vienna, VA), 26-17, in a non-league contest.
