The West Valley Eagles basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Anderson Cubs to 18 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Foothill for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28.

The Cubs (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lassen (Susanville, CA). The Grizzlies enter the contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Lassen was routed by West Valley (Cottonwood, CA), 48-45, in a league contest.
