Virginia High School Basketball - Charlottesville can't hold off Western Albemarle

The Western Albemarle Warriors basketball team scored 31 points and restricted the host Charlottesville Black Knights to 25 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Louisa County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Western Albemarle will battle a Lions team coming off a 38-23 non-league loss to Orange County (Orange, VA). The Lions record now stands at 5-8.

The Black Knights (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos come into the non-league contest with a 7-9 record.
