Community Christian Cyclones (Wilson, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Trinity Christian Tigers (Greenville, NC), 26-16 in a league bout.

With the win, Community Christian upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Cyclones travel to Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston, NC) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 1-5.

Next up, the Tigers play the Gramercy Christian Warriors (Newport, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Trinity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 18-14 non-league loss to Pamlico Christian Academy (Grantsboro, NC).
