The Culver City Centaurs (Culver City, CA) basketball felled the host Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA), 41-29 in Friday's league test.
The Centaurs (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Vikings go into the test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Santa Monica was beaten by Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA), 35-33, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Redondo Union for a test on Tuesday, January 31. Peninsula will encounter a Sea Hawks squad coming off a 53-42 non-league win over South (Torrance, CA). The Sea Hawks record now stands at 19-3.
