The George C. Marshall Statesmen tipped the host Washington-Liberty Generals basketball team by a final score of 43-38 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Statesmen face the Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 3. George C. Marshall will attempt to move on its 10-0 season record.

With the defeat, Washington-Liberty moves to 3-4 on the year. The Generals travel to Langley (McLean, VA) to face the Saxons in a game on Tuesday, January 31. The Saxons enter the game with a record of 2-11. Langley lost 42-18 in their recent non-league game against Yorktown (Arlington, VA)
