North Carolina High School Basketball - South Point nudges Huss

January 27, 2023: Gastonia, NC 28052

South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC), 35-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Point upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to Crest (Shelby, NC) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Crest won 38-34 in their recent non-league bout against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC)

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Huss will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
