The Yorktown Patriots basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Langley Saxons to 18 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Herndon for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31.

The Saxons (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA). The Generals enter the contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Washington-Liberty was routed by George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA), 43-38, in a non-league contest.
