Nevada High School Basketball - Las Vegas can't hold off Sunrise Mountain

The Sunrise Mountain Miners basketball team scored 35 points and restricted the visiting Las Vegas Wildcats to 30 in the Miners league victory on Friday.
The Miners now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cheyenne for a contest on Tuesday, January 31. Sunrise Mountain will battle a Desert Shields team coming off a 47-16 league loss to Western (Las Vegas, NV). The Desert Shields record now stands at 0-3.
The Wildcats (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV). The Panthers come into the contest with a 13-0 record. In their last contest, Palo Verde edged Western (Las Vegas, NV), 41-31, in a league contest.
