Next, the Bulldogs confront the Spring Hill Panthers (Longview, TX) in a 4A Region 2 District 15 challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Kilgore will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 5-0 league win over Tatum (Tatum, TX).

With the loss, Carthage drops to 5-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Sabine (Gladewater, TX) to meet the Cardinals in a 4A Region 2 District 15 test on Tuesday, January 31. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 1-5. Sabine won 2-1 in their recent league test against New Diana (Diana, TX)
