In Friday's league battle, the visiting Willis Wildkats soccer squad scored a close 4-0 win over the Cleveland Indians.
The Wildkats (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against College Park (The Woodlands, TX). The Cavaliers enter the 6A Region 2 District 13 contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, College Park edged Caney Creek (Conroe, TX), 4-0, in a league contest.
The Indians now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to The Woodlands for a 6A Region 2 District 13 game on Wednesday, February 1. Cleveland will clash with a Highlanders squad coming off a 1-1 league Grand Oaks (Spring, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 6-1.
