Nimitz Cougars (Houston, TX) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Eisenhower Eagles (Houston, TX), 5-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Westfield Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region 2 District 14 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Nimitz will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 14-0 league win over Dekaney (Houston, TX).

The Eagles now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Westfield for a 6A Region 2 District 14 challenge on Friday, February 3.
