The North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) basketball felled the host Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), 46-29 in Friday's non-league test.

The Vikings (12-6) will now prepare for their test against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears go into the non-league test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Mount Airy went down by Starmount (Boonville, NC), 36-27, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they host East Wilkes for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Alleghany will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 53-28 non-league win over Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-5.
