North Carolina High School Basketball - Ashbrook over Forestview

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) and the visiting Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC), saw Ashbrook's basketball squad overcome Forestview by a tally of 37-29.

With the victory, Ashbrook improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Greenwave host Shelby (Shelby, NC) to confront the Golden Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 30. The Golden Lions come into the challenge with a record of 8-7. Shelby won 64-30 in their recent league challenge against Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC)

Next up, the Jaguars confront the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Forestview will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 67-31 non-league win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC).
