Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Branham Bruins (San Jose, CA), 40-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Pioneer upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Independence (San Jose, CA) to clash with the 76ers in a bout on Wednesday, February 1. The 76ers go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Independence lost 69-35 in their recent league bout against Leigh (San Jose, CA)
