Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Woodside Wildcats (Woodside, CA), 48-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Carlmont upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Scots travel to Mills (Millbrae, CA) to clash with the Vikings in a bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-7.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Capuchino Mustangs (San Bruno, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Woodside will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 55-42 league loss to Burlingame (Burlingame, CA).
