North Carolina High School Basketball - Hendersonville can't hold off Chase

The Chase Trojans basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Hendersonville Bearcats to 38 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brevard for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Chase will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 29-15 non-league win over R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 13-4.
The Bearcats (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, East Rutherford nudged Patton (Morganton, NC), 50-45, in a non-league contest.
